Well I’m new to the webmasters field of work, but my site went from a pr2 to pr3 home page and lots of pr2 through-out the site. I don’t think of the pagerank, but the content and it’s key words and I very good search engine traffic from Google, Msn, yahoo and ask!!!

It’s true that it’s easy to become obsessed about page rank, but the risk with that is that we compromise quality time that we could be spending on creating good content and sharing information. As a relatively new webmaster, I have almost been caught up in the frenzy while wondering what it’s all about.

Anyhow, it’s an interesting campaign, I think I’ll jump on!

I should point out that the purpose of this meme is not really to say that we are against Pagerank, more that we are against spending all day everyday chatting and worrying about it.

So whilst many webmasters will panic, worry, discuss, predict… we will get on with creating quality content and sharing links to improve our PR rank.

It is a bit ironic, isn’t it?

True, one cannot be in business of creating web sites (personal sites or clients sites) without having a clue about how search engines look at pages/sites. But on the other hand the idea is not to get crazy on PR and latest spider algorithms updates and so on.

. I suppose you suggest to forget about “PageRank (TM)”, but not to drop one’s interest in search engine result lists for search terms related to your source of income…
